We primarily follow the Singapore curriculum for grades 1 to 10 and use custom-designed materials for beginners. In addition, we incorporate select lessons, stories, and exercises from Tamil Virtual University, Tamil Nadu Government textbooks, and other online resources, as appropriate for our classes.
Our lessons focus on developing speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Periodic speech and essay topics are assigned to help students gain fluency. We also utilize computer-based teaching methods, which are highly appreciated by both parents and students.
The academic year consists of 32 classes, split into two semesters. Classes are held on weekends, with each session lasting approximately 75 minutes. Weekly, midterm, and semester exams are conducted for assessment. The beginner level takes two and a half years to complete, while other grades generally take about one and a half years. Students must maintain an average score of 70% to advance to the next grade.
Students are encouraged to showcase their talents through cultural programs during our annual day event.
Parents, encourage your children to join our school and embrace our rich heritage by learning our mother tongue!
