Meena has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Bharathidasan University, India. She was a tutor before coming to the USA. She worked as a Pre-School Teacher in Atlanta.
Meena has interest in reading and learning Tamil Bhakti Literature books. She is teaching Thiruvasagam and Thirupugazh to adults and children.
She thinks though we have moved away from our native Tamil Nadu, we must help our children maintain their cultural roots and a critical means of communication with family back home. This enduring interest in Tamil motivated her to join Lakshmi Tamil School as she thoroughly enjoys working with children and wants all children to be successful learners.
